Kanwal Oswal has particular experience transforming legacy banking systems by rearchitecting and leveraging cloud, AI, and machine learning technologies. His focus at BMO is on modernizing Corporate and Commercial Banking platforms, and he has helped re-architect and migrate critical systems management capacities to Amazon Web Services as cloud native solutions. This was a very successful post-merger integration that resulted in migration of all B2B customer data and commercial banking credit data from Bank of the West to BMO. He joined the firm as senior technology officer and was responsible for corporate and commercial lending technologies.
